INSPECTION BODY: Initial and subsequent verification

MEDILESER SAC has a Type C Inspection Agency that performs initial and subsequent verification of drinking water meters.
The Inspection Body is accredited with the NTP ISO/IEC 17020 standard, by the INACAL Accreditation Department, with registration number OI-40, which guarantees its competence, impartiality and coherence of the initial and subsequent verification services.
It is also authorized by the INACAL Metrology Department as a Metrological Verification Unit (UVM), with registration number UVM-005, which allows it to perform metrological control on drinking water meters.
SCOPE
The scope of accreditation and authorization granted by INACAL covers the initial and subsequent verification services of water meters with diameters of 15mm, 20mm and 25mm, under specific standards.

INITIAL AND SUBSEQUENT VERIFICATION SERVICE

Verification of drinking water meters is only carried out on those that have valid model approval or homologation certificates. The initial verification of water meters includes: 1 static pressure test 3 indication error trials (in Q 3 , Q 2 and Q 1 ) The subsequent verification only includes the tests for errors of indication (in Q 3 , Q 2 and Q 1 ) The initial and post-verification service flows are presented below.

Complaints

Expression of dissatisfaction, other than an appeal, submitted by a person or organization to an inspection body, relating to the activities of that body, for which a response is expected. (NTP ISO/IEC 17020).

Appeal

Request from the supplier of the inspection item to the inspection body to reconsider the decision it has made in relation to that item. (NTP ISO/IEC 17020).
